Position Overview
Are you passionate about data accuracy and healthcare service excellence? PathCare’s N1 City branch in Cape Town is looking for skilled and detail-oriented Data Capturers to join its high-performing Login Department. This vital role ensures accurate and timely entry of sensitive medical and patient data into laboratory systems, directly contributing to diagnostic accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately capture patient and test information into the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)

Ensure a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute with high levels of accuracy

Identify and flag inconsistencies or incomplete data for prompt correction

Comply with privacy legislation and data protection regulations
-
Assist in routine audits and internal quality assurance protocols

Collaborate with laboratory and support staff to ensure streamlined data processing and workflow
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Typing speed of 35 wpm minimum, with a strong emphasis on accuracy

Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel
-
Prior experience in typing and administrative roles (essential)

Fluency in English and working understanding of Afrikaans

Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous

Willingness to work flexible shifts (including weekends and public holidays)
