ROLE OVERVIEW
ACDC Dynamics is seeking a dependable and observant Warehouse Security Checker to join its warehouse operations team based in Longmeadow. This is a full-time, permanent role designed for someone with excellent vigilance, a calm demeanor under pressure, and the ability to follow established safety and security protocols with absolute professionalism.
The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining the safety and security of the warehouse premises. You will be responsible for overseeing the entry and exit of stock, monitoring activity across the warehouse, assisting staff and customers when needed, and responding appropriately to any irregularities or emergencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor all stock items entering and exiting the warehouse to ensure accurate documentation and prevent loss

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect suspicious activity or potential security breaches

Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergency calls

Escort unauthorized individuals off the premises when necessary
-
Cooperate with local authorities, fire department, or law enforcement during incidents

Maintain clear communication with warehouse supervisors regarding security-related incidents

Assist staff and customers in locating goods, providing directions, and managing safety procedures

Remain vigilant at all times and ensure strict adherence to company security policies

Complete incident reports with accurate details when required

Contribute to the overall order, discipline, and operational safety of the warehouse
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A valid Matric certificate or equivalent qualification

A clean criminal record (mandatory)

Valid security license and relevant certification required

Physical fitness and strength to perform on-foot patrols and respond to physical tasks

Proven security experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, or retail environment (advantageous)

Excellent observational and situational awareness skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The ability to stay calm and make quick decisions during emergencies

Integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility

Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed
