Role Overview
Premier FMCG is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Driver Promoter to join the Sales team based in Waltloo, Gauteng. This role is ideal for a confident individual who enjoys being on the road, promoting products, entertaining crowds, and ensuring excellent customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in representing the brand during promotional events, driving the company vehicle, and maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the cleanliness and presentability of the company truck at all times
Ensure that all vehicle licenses and PDP documentation are kept up to date
Promote Premier FMCG products by engaging with and entertaining customers at promotional events
Deliver products as per schedule and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Assist in crowd entertainment and product promotion at activations, events, or customer sites
Ensure accurate record-keeping of promotional activities and customer interactions
Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment with promotional goals and targets
Follow company safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe driving practices
Qualification Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent with strong numerical ability and computer literacy
Valid Code C Driver’s License with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Experience Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
Proven track record of product promotion and customer interaction
Sound understanding of sales processes and customer service

High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Assertive and confident with a customer-focused mindset
Good numerical ability and ability to work under pressure
