Role Overview
Premier FMCG is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join the Corporate Finance team in Waterfall, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and reconciling creditor transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining financial controls, and ensuring compliance with payment terms and reporting standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong analytical skills and a solid background in accounts payable within the FMCG or financial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately and in the correct financial period
Reconcile supplier statements and ensure payments are made within agreed terms
Prepare and process monthly accruals to ensure financial records reflect accurate liabilities
Maintain and update accounts payable reports to provide real-time information
Adhere to applicable financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies
Review and validate all supplier costs to ensure accuracy and completeness
Safeguard all financial documentation and ensure proper filing and record-keeping
Assist with any other finance-related tasks as required by management
Qualification Requirements
BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience Requirements
3 to 5 years’ accounts payable experience within the FMCG or financial environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Experience working with financial systems such as Great Plains

Understanding of FMCG customer environment
Strong numerical ability with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Willingness to work extra hours during month-end, financial year-end, and as required by management
Flexibility to handle ad hoc tasks as allocated by management
