Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Mobile Team Leader to join our Newcastle team in KwaZulu-Natal. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities and a passion for sales, mobile operations, and the growing online gambling industry. You will be instrumental in driving mobile betting growth, managing a team, and achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Mobile Betting Growth & Sales Leadership

Collaborate with Area Managers to meet mobile betting targets, focusing on active and qualified accounts

Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns with the support of the Marketing Team

Facilitate and manage daily promotional activities to increase brand visibility and revenue

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Ensure all CSI handovers and regional campaigns are professionally executed

Measure the success of campaigns using ROI analysis and Promo Trackers
Team Management & Development

Recruit, interview, and coordinate induction and training for new team members

Provide day-to-day management of Mobile Clerks, including setting daily targets and completing performance reviews

Address HR/IR matters, poor performance management, and ensure high team morale

Organize continuous training for Mobile Clerks on betting types, mobile platforms, and Top Up Voucher (TUV) products

Ensure cash-ups and financial processes are completed accurately and according to company standards
Operational Support & Reporting

Oversee the rollout and branding of Top Up Voucher outlets within distributor networks

Conduct regular visits to outlets to ensure operational standards are met

Manage team attendance, absenteeism, and leave schedules

Monitor stock levels and usage, providing daily reports

Complete all required Moodle, Betstrike, and Trainer on Wheels training sessions

Provide regular operational reports to Area Managers
Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum of 1 year experience managing events or promotions

Valid driver’s license is essential

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving quota

Strong understanding of customer needs and diverse personality types
-
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Experience in mobile betting, sports betting, or gambling industries is highly advantageous
