KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Engagement & Sales

Greet customers promptly, assess their needs, and recommend products that align with their projects and budgets.

Demonstrate product features, explain technical specifications, and provide hands-on demonstrations when possible.

Process sales transactions accurately, upsell relevant accessories and service plans, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
Merchandising & Stock Control
-
Receive, unpack, and stock new deliveries in designated areas, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.

Conduct regular stock takes, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.

Arrange product displays according to brand standards and promotional themes to create an appealing shopping environment.
Store Maintenance & Housekeeping

Keep the sales floor, aisles, and checkout areas clean, organised, and safe.

Adhere to health and safety protocols, ensuring equipment is stored securely and access routes remain clear.

Participate in daily briefings and INVOCOM™ meetings to share insights on store performance and continuous improvement ideas.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
-
Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification is mandatory.

Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not essential; entry-level candidates with a customer-centric attitude are encouraged to apply.

Technical knowledge in DIY tools, hardware, or machinery is a significant advantage.
