Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric – Essential

Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel)

Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a retail environment

Fluent in English and another relevant official South African language

Strong interpersonal and selling skills

Logical thinker with sound analytical ability

High energy, self-driven, and target-oriented
-
Excellent planning, organising, and time management skills

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team

Strong leadership and organisational abilities

Own transport and valid driver’s license would be advantageous
Key Responsibilities
Operational and Financial Management

Maximise profitability by meeting and exceeding turnover and budget targets

Maintain stock control processes to ensure losses remain below benchmark levels

Ensure store administration is aligned with Standard Operating Procedures

Implement promotions, visual merchandising, and maintain store standards
Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and motivate your store team to achieve targets and deliver excellent customer service

Actively participate in succession planning, coaching, and staff development

Foster a positive, productive, and values-driven team culture

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Customer Experience and Brand Standards

Uphold Tekkie Town brand standards and ensure customer expectations are exceeded

Stay updated with the latest stock trends and merchandising processes

Take responsibility for the opening and closing of the store

Promote and drive the Tekkie Town culture and values within the store environment
