Minimum Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) – Essential

• Computer Literacy (MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a retail environment

• Fluency in English and at least one other South African official language (verbal and written)

• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and selling skills

• Logical thinker with solid analytical ability

• High energy levels with a performance-driven mindset

• Excellent planning, organisational, and time management abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Management

• Drive store turnover and meet/exceed monthly targets and budgets

• Implement effective store administration in line with Standard Operating Procedures

• Maintain stock control to ensure losses are within acceptable benchmarks

Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards

• Implement promotional campaigns and maintain store merchandising standards

• Stay up to date with stock trends and oversee stock unpacking processes

• Ensure the store reflects the Tekkie Town brand image in line with customer expectations

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop store staff to meet performance and succession planning goals

• Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain operational excellence

• Foster a positive, motivated, and customer-focused store culture

• Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures
