Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric – Essential

Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Outlook, Excel)

Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Senior Sales Assistant in retail

Fluent in English and at least one other official South African language

Strong interpersonal and selling skills

Logical thinker with good analytical ability

High energy levels and performance-driven mindset

Excellent planning, organising, and time management skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Leadership and organisational abilities

Key Responsibilities
Operational and Sales Excellence

Assist the Store Manager in maximising profitability and achieving monthly sales targets

Ensure store administration aligns with Standard Operating Procedures

Maintain strict stock control to minimise losses below benchmark levels

Drive effective implementation of promotions, visual merchandising, and store standards
-
Keep updated with new stock arrivals and merchandising processes
Leadership and Team Development

Supervise and motivate floor staff to achieve daily sales targets

Provide coaching and support to both new and existing Sales Associates

Step into the role of Store Manager when required, ensuring smooth store operations

Foster a team culture that reflects Tekkie Town’s values and commitment to excellence
Customer Service and Store Standards

Ensure a superior customer experience through excellent service delivery

Coordinate daily operations including sales processes, orders, and payments

Maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness in line with brand expectations

Open and close the store as per company policy
