We are currently looking for an experienced Used Vehicle Sales Executive to join our dynamic Sales team at our Riverhorse branch in Durban.

Role Overview

The Used Vehicle Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving vehicle sales while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires an energetic, target-driven individual with strong sales skills, a passion for cars, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers.

The ideal candidate must have previous car sales experience, excellent negotiation skills, and the ambition to exceed targets consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with potential customers to understand their vehicle needs

• Maintain expert knowledge of available vehicle stock to make informed recommendations

• Provide accurate product information and demonstrate vehicle features during test drives

• Advise customers on potential “add-ons” and pricing structures

• Collaborate with the Finance & Insurance (FandI) team to finalize deals and ensure customer satisfaction

• Build lasting relationships with customers to promote repeat business and referrals

• Achieve sales targets and deliver on performance metrics set by the dealership

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive industry trends and vehicle models

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• Previous car sales experience is a distinct advantage

• Proven sales track record with contactable references

• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales

• Valid South African driver’s license

• Own reliable transport
