Role Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior POD Buyer. This unique role forms the foundation of WeBuyCars’ operations and offers excellent growth potential. As a Junior POD Buyer, you will be responsible for vehicle inspections, appraisals, and purchasing high-quality vehicles at fair prices while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct accurate vehicle inspections and appraisals to determine fair market value

Ensure on-site vehicle inspections meet company standards

Purchase vehicles at appropriate market-related prices to meet budgeted volume and gross margin targets

Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all sellers

Complete administrative tasks and technical evaluations with precision and attention to detail

Work closely with the broader buying team to support business goals
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (Matric) essential

Minimum of 4 years’ work experience, preferably within sales, purchasing, or customer-facing roles

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy

Solid administrative and technical abilities

Effective verbal and written communication skills
Additional Requirements

Residing in Bredasdorp or nearby areas is highly advantageous

Age preference: 23 – 34 years

Valid driver’s license essential
