Our client, a premier MSP based in Denver, Colorado, is renowned for delivering top-tier IT support and tailored technology strategies that align with client budgets and business goals. They are currently expanding their team and seeking a dedicated Sales Support Assistant who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, supporting the sales process for a diverse client base.
Role Overview: Sales Support Assistant
As a Sales Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by creating accurate quotes and detailed sales proposals. This role requires someone who is organized, communicative, and able to work independently from home while maintaining close coordination with sales professionals and clients.
You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating discovery calls, proposal presentations, and post-meeting follow-ups. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.
The role operates during USA business hours with shifts from 4 PM to 1 AM or 5 PM to 2 AM South African time. A reliable internet connection (minimum 100MB), a high-spec computer with multiple monitors, and a quiet home workspace are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Speak professionally with clients via phone or video conferencing
Export and manipulate data using Microsoft Excel
Proofread documents ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Coordinate meeting schedules between sales teams and clients
Take detailed notes during sales meetings for follow-up actions
Send follow-up emails, calls, and messages post presentations
Update and maintain Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software records
Prioritize and manage client requests and schedules efficiently
Create and modify Microsoft Word and Excel documents at an intermediate level
Manage the quoting process for internet service provider requests
Learn and adapt to complex IT product and technology concepts
Familiarity with Autotask or Connectwise platforms is beneficial but not mandatory

Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory
At least 2 years experience working in the IT industry, preferably with an MSP
Customer service oriented with a proactive, solution-focused approach
Experience creating and manipulating intermediate-level Microsoft Word and Excel documents
Associates degree or higher is advantageous
Compensation
Salary starts around R35,000 per month, negotiable based on skills and experience
