Job Purpose: Griller
The Griller is responsible for preparing high-quality flame-grilled chicken and other menu items in line with Pedros’ standard operating procedures. This role demands a strong focus on food safety, cleanliness, speed of service, and excellent customer interaction. Key Responsibilities

Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met at all times, maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment

Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and Pedros’ quality standards

Prepare and grill menu items according to Pedros SOP, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation

Maintain speed and accuracy to meet customer expectations during busy periods

Deliver friendly and efficient customer service when engaging with guests at the service counter or grill station

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Take responsibility for proper handling and storage of food items
Minimum Requirements
-
National Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent)

Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-food or restaurant environment as a griller, kitchen assistant, or food handler

Solid understanding of food preparation, hygiene practices, and kitchen safety

Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Passion for customer service and high-quality food

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
