KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide high-quality customer service by addressing enquiries regarding Dis-Chem products and services

Capture customer data accurately and maintain up-to-date documentation
-
Manage promotional materials such as goody bags, application forms, and baby kits
-
Handle card balance inquiries and interpret card reports and statements
-
Coordinate stock control processes related to promotional inventory and shrinkage
-
Accurately process transactions through TRMS and escalate complex queries when necessary
-
Respond promptly to complaints and compliments using the customer service diary
-
Maintain store signage for Benefits Programme and ensure maximum visibility at help desks and till points
-
Manage and report on in-store events and promotional campaigns
-
Ensure communication across departments regarding customer service goals and training

Facilitate customer recruitment for the Benefits Programme

Offer exceptional telephone etiquette as per Dis-Chem SOPs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
-
Grade 12 / Matric with at least 60% in English, Afrikaans, and Maths Literacy

Minimum 1 year of experience in administration or public relations

Basic computer proficiency in MS Office
-
Willingness to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
-
National qualification in Administration, Customer Service, or Public Relations
-
Knowledge of SAP systems
-
Ability to speak a third additional language
-
Familiarity with the POPI Act and Consumer Protection Act

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
