Role Overview: Assistant Manager (ABA Therapy)
The Assistant Manager will support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery to children and families receiving ABA therapy. This role involves supervising staff, managing program implementation, coordinating training and schedules, and ensuring compliance with clinical and ethical standards.
This full-time remote position requires a strong leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, experienced in ABA therapy and behavioral health settings. You will work Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM US time, supporting operational success from your home office in South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily operational management and support of the organization
Supervise, mentor, and support ABA therapy staff to ensure effective service delivery
Oversee program development and ensure alignment with ABA best practices
Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team
Conduct assessments and observations to monitor client progress and adjust therapy programs as needed
Maintain communication with parents and guardians, providing updates and addressing concerns
Assist with budget management and resource allocation to optimize outcomes
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in clinical practice
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field
Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
In-depth understanding of ABA principles and therapeutic practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children, families, and staff
Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Google Sheets, Rethink, Excel, Docusign, ConnectTeam, What Converts, and Monday.com
Desired Experience
Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience within ABA or related behavioral health settings
Experience working with children with developmental disabilities in therapeutic or educational roles
Proven leadership record in driving positive team and client outcomes
Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and standards
Compensation and Work Schedule
Competitive monthly salary paid in USD
Full-time remote work aligning with US business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM South Africa time
