Role Overview: Ward Hostess Trainer
This role is ideal for a professional with healthcare or hospitality experience and a passion for service excellence. As the Ward Hostess Trainer, you will be responsible for training, coaching, and supervising ward hostesses to ensure a high standard of patient service in hospital wards. You will play a vital part in aligning ward staff with hospital protocols and enhancing the patient experience through courteous, efficient, and compassionate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver structured training programs for new and existing ward hostesses

Provide hands-on coaching and performance assessments to ensure consistent service excellence

Work closely with healthcare professionals, including nursing teams, to maintain cohesive patient care standards

Monitor daily service levels and identify training gaps or improvement opportunities

Ensure ward hostesses strictly follow hospital policies, infection control procedures, and patient care protocols

Serve as a role model for professionalism, service ethics, and patient engagement

Stay updated with industry best practices and apply them to improve training and service delivery
Required Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or team leader role in a healthcare, hospital, or hospitality setting

Demonstrated knowledge of hospital operations, patient care standards, and service etiquette

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

Ability to inspire, motivate, and evaluate performance effectively

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred

A calm and professional demeanor with the ability to work well under pressure
