ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a qualified Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations of our warehouse in Nigel, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day management of stock, staff, sales, and general store functions. This is a hands-on role requiring solid experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and people management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personnel Management: Supervise and develop warehouse staff to ensure a productive and motivated team

Sales Oversight: Support in-store sales activities, ensuring product availability and customer satisfaction

Budget Management: Monitor and manage warehouse-related budgets, aiming to reduce costs and maximize efficiency

Stock Control: Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and prevent stockouts

Administration: Ensure proper record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with internal controls and policies

Operational Excellence: Maintain an orderly and safe warehouse environment, aligned with company and legal standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Matric (Grade 12) – Minimum educational qualification

2 years of experience in a retail or warehouse environment
-
1 year in a supervisory role will be advantageous
TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
-
Sound knowledge of AFGRI Retail’s product range

Computer literacy: MS Office Suite and other job-related software
-
Proficiency in POS systems and SAP is preferred

Valid driver’s licence (Code 08) is required
