Role Overview

The Marketing Clerk will support the college’s marketing and communication strategy. The position involves promotional work, event coordination, website updates, and maintaining brand identity across platforms. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with knowledge of marketing channels and an understanding of public relations in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance in marketing, branding, and promotional activities for the college.
Support the coordination of public relations and media liaison initiatives.
Assist with photography, drafting press articles, and managing visual content for campaigns.
Support the planning and coordination of college events and maintain marketing administrative systems.
Help in maintaining and updating the college website, including content design and layout.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 with a Computer qualification or NCV Level 4 Certificate in Marketing.
An N6 Certificate in Marketing or Public Relations will be an added advantage.
At least 1 year of experience in a Marketing and Communication environment is beneficial.

Key Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency in social media practices and digital platforms.
Understanding of branding and its implementation across various communication channels.
Familiarity with stakeholder management and event coordination.
Basic knowledge of website maintenance and visual content layout.
Strong skills in planning, administration, financial tracking, and report writing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Competency in computer literacy, client service orientation, and project management.
