LEARNERSHIP OVERVIEW
Are you a young South African looking to break into the workforce and gain practical skills? The Building Company’s Citiwood Durban Learnership programme offers a 12-month paid opportunity to develop both your technical and interpersonal abilities in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
As part of this programme, learners will receive hands-on experience and engage in structured learning to build capabilities in retail operations, customer service, and self-management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Throughout the learnership, you will be expected to:

Demonstrate customer-focused behaviour in line with the company’s commitment to service excellence.

Engage in team collaboration while also effectively managing your own tasks and responsibilities.

Assist with basic store operations, inventory control, and customer interactions.

Learn and apply essential business skills in a supportive, professional environment.
LEARNERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

Be a South African Citizen.

Be under the age of 35.
-
Possess a valid Matric certificate (Grade 12).

Have limited or no formal work experience.
-
Must not have participated in a W&R SETA learnership previously.
Additional Skills (Beneficial but not mandatory):

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office).

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Effective planning and organizational skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
