LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The BUCO Pinetown Learnership Programme is a structured 12-month learning opportunity that combines theoretical training with hands-on retail experience. This programme is specifically designed for young South African citizens who have recently completed Matric and are looking to gain real-world work experience while earning a nationally recognised qualification.
Successful candidates will be exposed to various operational aspects of retail—from customer service and merchandising to stock management and store operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participants in the learnership will:

Gain practical experience in the day-to-day functioning of a BUCO retail outlet

Assist with merchandising, stock control, and point-of-sale operations

Provide professional customer service and represent the BUCO brand positively

Attend formal learning sessions and complete assessments as part of the SETA-accredited curriculum

Demonstrate initiative and teamwork while supporting the store team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African citizen

Be under the age of 35

Possess a valid Matric certificate (Grade 12)

Have limited or no previous work experience

Not have previously participated in a W&R SETA learnership
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
