📋 Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• 3 years’ driving experience

• Valid Driver’s Licence

• Completion of advanced driving course will be an advantage

• Knowledge of:

  • Motor vehicle operations and routine maintenance

  • Logbook usage and obtaining trip authorities

  • Fuel and service processes (e.g., tyre replacement, petrol acquisition)

  • Public Service transport regulations

  • South African road networks, especially in city areas where duties will be performed

🛠 Duties

• Transport the National Commissioner using light/medium vehicles

• Deliver and collect mail and official documents

• Maintain the allocated vehicle (report defects, ensure cleanliness, check functionality)

• Record all trips in the prescribed vehicle logbook

• Perform clerical/messenger duties in the Commissioner’s office

• Collect and deliver items to and from post office

• Distribute documents internally and externally

• Ensure accurate tracking and safekeeping of government assets
