Role Overview: Administration Clerk – Supply Chain Management
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administration Clerk with Supply Chain Management expertise to join the hospital’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement processes, supply chain administration, and compliance within the Supply Chain Department.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee procurement planning, maintain and execute the procurement plan effectively.

Handle Electronic Supplier Ledger (ESL) buy-out requests and advertising of quotations via the Electronic Procurement System (EPS).

Prepare quotations for Quotation Committee and Adjudication processes.

Manage manual Procurement Advises and execute LOGIS system functions including approval and authorization of orders.

Systematically process receipt vouchers and issue related documentation.

Provide compliance reports to supervisors and assist with interim and annual financial statements preparation.

Address queries related to Supply Chain Management and finance to ensure department efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
-
Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent, with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject; alternatively, relevant experience focusing on the role’s Key Performance Areas (KPAs).

Proven experience working with LOGIS, Electronic Procurement System (EPS), ESL, and contract administration.

Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.

Competent computer skills including Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Competencies

In-depth knowledge of Accounting Officer’s System and Supply Chain Management delegations within the department.

Familiarity with the Western Cape Supplier Database and Centralized Supplier Database.

Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Attention to detail with a proactive approach to compliance control.
