ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a Solutions Principal – Data/AI to join our high-performing Solutions team. This is a senior-level role focused on driving revenue growth by helping clients solve complex business challenges using data engineering, AI, and intelligent digital solutions. You will be instrumental in formulating go-to-market strategies, building long-term client relationships, and designing technical proposals that unlock transformative outcomes.
You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, finance, and marketing, acting as a strategic advisor and technical authority in pre-sales and early delivery stages. If you have a strong consulting mindset, hands-on data/AI expertise, and a passion for enterprise-scale transformation, this is a rare opportunity to shape some of the most forward-looking digital initiatives in North America.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with sales, delivery, and marketing to grow strategic enterprise accounts.

Lead pre-sales engagements by creating persuasive proposals and solution architectures for complex data and AI initiatives.

Identify client challenges and develop tailored digital transformation roadmaps and project scopes.

Lead discovery workshops, conduct client interviews, and produce structured reports, solution blueprints, and presentations.

Partner with delivery teams during project initiation to ensure alignment between client vision and implementation strategy.

Craft compelling customer success stories to articulate the value of Nearform’s digital capabilities.

Cultivate strong client relationships across technical, business, and executive levels.

Support Client Principals in building account development plans and strategic engagement programs.

Continuously document and share best practices, insights, and frameworks with internal teams.

Help scale Nearform’s Data/AI pre-sales capability to support a growing B2B pipeline across industries.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

8+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, machine learning, or AI—preferably in consulting or enterprise software.

Strong background in solution design, pre-sales, or delivery of bespoke technical solutions in enterprise environments.

Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, modern data stacks, and AI model deployment at scale.

Track record of advising on or leading large-scale digital transformation and data modernization projects.

Comfortable engaging C-suite, VPs, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into value-based solutions.

Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

Previous experience working across sales, delivery, product, and marketing to drive aligned, high-impact outcomes.

Skilled at navigating ambiguity and adapting to fluid, high-growth environments.

Experience creating business cases and outcome-based value propositions.

Consulting experience or background in a top-tier digital consultancy or technology firm preferred.
