ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Content & Social Media Intern, you will play a critical role in building and growing Ayobody’s online community. Your main focus will be developing engaging content across social platforms—especially Instagram—and supporting multi-channel wellness communication. You will work closely with leadership to transform complex health and nutrition topics into clear, digestible, and visually engaging posts, videos, and stories.

This is a hands-on internship where creativity, self-motivation, and a genuine interest in health and wellness are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Strategy & Planning

• Develop a quarterly social media calendar aligned with program launches and wellness trends.

• Research current topics in preventive health, nutrition, mental well-being, and fitness to inform content direction.

• Set performance goals (reach, engagement, conversion) for each campaign or series.

Content Development

• Write concise, consumer-friendly articles, guides, and worksheets explaining evidence-informed health concepts.

• Maintain and organize a content asset library to ensure consistency across platforms.

• Fact-check all wellness content against clinical guidelines and reputable sources.

Video Production

• Script 5–10 minute video segments based on Ayobody program content.

• Direct or collaborate with freelance video editors and creatives to produce branded video assets.

• Edit simple clips using tools like Descript or CapCut, ensuring high-quality pacing, branding, and subtitles.

Social Media Management

• Own day-to-day management of Ayobody’s Instagram account—post scheduling, responding to DMs and comments, and implementing engagement strategies.

• Drive follower growth from zero to 10K+ through community engagement, hashtags, influencer cross-promotion, and content innovation.

Project Management

• Track deliverables using project management tools like ClickUp, Notion, or Google Sheets.

• Coordinate task assignments and deadlines with freelancers (designers, videographers, etc.).

• Submit weekly timesheets and maintain clear records of project milestones and contributions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Content Development Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in content creation or marketing (internships or freelance work included).

• Portfolio that showcases writing, reels, video work, or social posts.

Social Media Proficiency

• Deep understanding of Instagram features (Stories, Reels, IGTV, Guides) and platform algorithms.

• Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (Instagram Insights, Buffer, or similar).

Writing & Editorial Skills

• Exceptional written English skills, with an ability to translate scientific or clinical information into simple, engaging content.

• Attention to tone, grammar, and factual accuracy.

Creative & Technical Skills

• Proficient in Canva, Photoshop, CapCut, Descript, or equivalent content creation tools.

• Ability to storyboard and edit basic video sequences.

• Bonus: Skills in lighting, sound editing, or motion graphics.

Self-Starter & Remote Readiness

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects remotely.

• Reliable home-office setup and internet connection.

• Highly organized and proactive with time tracking and reporting.
