ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly driven and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join a growing team at our Johannesburg branch. This position is perfect for someone eager to gain experience in warehouse operations, administrative support, and logistics, with promising potential for career growth.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will provide key support in day-to-day warehouse functions, with a focus on data accuracy, inventory control, and internal communication. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information in and out of the facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the coordination of daily warehouse operations and inventory control

Perform data capturing and general administrative tasks

Update and maintain records using Excel and warehouse software systems
-
Assist with receiving, checking, and dispatching stock
-
Ensure that warehouse documentation is accurate and filed appropriately

Communicate effectively with project teams and warehouse staff
-
Support warehouse planning and ensure smooth order fulfilment processes
-
Use initiative to identify operational improvements and suggest process efficiencies

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

Matric / Grade 12 certificate

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Strong planning and organizational capabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

Target-driven and motivated to achieve results

Able to work independently and use own initiative

A proven team player with a positive attitude

Demonstrated leadership potential is an advantage

Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not required
