PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Yes 4 Youth (Gauteng) x2 opportunity is a structured workplace development initiative offered at DHL Supply Chain’s facility in Kempton Park. This full-time temporary placement is geared towards unemployed youth seeking to gain valuable experience, develop critical job skills, and increase their employability within the logistics and freight industry.

Selected candidates will work in various operational environments, adhering to DHL’s safety and service protocols, while learning the core responsibilities of supply chain operations. This is your chance to kick-start your career with a globally respected brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and comply with client-specific logistics procedures

• Operate equipment correctly and report any operational issues promptly

• Identify and report any non-conforming products or customer-related challenges

• Support the delivery and offloading process according to operational standards

• Carry out all duties as directed by the Team Leader or Management

• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and discipline at all times

• Adapt to varying roles within operational areas as needed

• Uphold the integrity and image of DHL during all interactions and assignments

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a BBBEE candidate

• South African citizen (proof required)

• Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 to 29 years

• Matric (Grade 12) with English and Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy

• Must submit the following documents:

  • Updated CV

  • Certified copy of ID

  • Certified Matric certificate
