Role Overview
Fidelity Cash Solutions is seeking an entry-level yet highly responsible Teller for its Parow Branch in Cape Town, Western Cape. Reporting to the Counting House Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for counting, verifying, and reconciling cash while maintaining strict adherence to all security and operational procedures. This role is ideal for someone with previous cashiering or cash handling experience who is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity within a reputable organization.
Working in a fast-paced, high-risk environment, the Teller must demonstrate high levels of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will support Fidelity’s goal of maintaining absolute trust and efficiency in the handling of clients’ funds.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately count and verify large sums of cash in line with company procedures

Reconcile physical cash against system records and balancing reports

Operate specialized money-counting machines and packing equipment for ATMs

Adhere to all cash processing and security protocols

Ensure that each transaction is documented and that discrepancies are reported immediately

Maintain accountability for assigned batches and registers

Support efficient cash packing and ATM preparation processes

Contribute to the secure and efficient operation of the cash counting room

Communicate irregularities or technical issues to management

Collaborate with team members to meet daily processing targets
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification
-
At least 2 years of experience in a cashiering or similar role
-
Clean criminal record – all candidates will undergo background verification

Basic computer literacy is essential

Able to handle high-pressure environments and remain focused on task accuracy

Must be able to work extended hours and overtime when required
