Role Overview

Fidelity SecureDrive is currently looking for a Technical Supervisor to oversee daily technical operations and uphold the highest standards of fitment quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This role is based in Krugersdorp, Gauteng, and is best suited for a seasoned technician with leadership experience in the vehicle tracking or auto-electrical industry.

As the Technical Supervisor, your primary objective will be to ensure the effective supervision of field technicians, stock, tools, and equipment while delivering outstanding service to Fidelity’s diverse client base. You will also be responsible for ensuring that every fitment and repair meets technical, regulatory, and customer standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all assigned technical operations within the SecureDrive division

  • Ensure all company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and free of traffic fines

  • Manage tools and stock; conduct regular stock takes and address discrepancies

  • Monitor and ensure mobile devices used by technicians are operational

  • Maintain the company’s uniform standards and PSIRA appearance guidelines

  • Perform administrative tasks including database updates and register filing

  • Conduct on-the-job coaching and support for technicians when necessary

  • Respond to customer complaints and provide product support both onsite and remotely

  • Oversee and assist in fitments and hardware installations to the highest technical standard

  • Manage the installation, repair, and maintenance of tracking systems

  • Implement specialized OEM fitment techniques and adhere to industry guidelines

  • Participate in technical assessments and support system evaluations

  • Promote adherence to company policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations

  • Deliver internal feedback and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations

  • Support continuous improvement by identifying skill gaps and initiating training

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • Valid Code B driver’s license

  • Clear criminal record

  • PSIRA Grade C certification

  • Trade test in motor electronics or auto-electrical work (preferred)

  • Auto-electrician qualification will be an advantage

  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in vehicle tracking system installation and maintenance
