ROLE OVERVIEW

AB InBev is hiring a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to be part of the frontline commercial leadership team. This position plays a critical role in driving business outcomes through joint business planning and flawless execution of push and pull strategies across the top regional wholesalers. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and a deep understanding of local markets, ultimately contributing to profitable volume growth and increased market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze market data and competitive intelligence to identify gaps and opportunities in route-to-market strategies, credit offerings, and sales campaigns.

  • Develop integrated regional sales plans in alignment with both short-term and long-term business objectives.

  • Leverage marketing insights including brand positioning and consumer segmentation to influence commercial decision-making.

  • Align budgeting processes to support visibility initiatives (CAPIN, OPEX) and ensure effective spend on push and pull tactics.

  • Identify challenges across the region and synthesize solutions that align with integrated business planning.

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation applicable to regional sales and marketing activities.

  • Execute strategic plans with precision to achieve volume and share growth targets.

  • Apply financial oversight to manage budgets and investments while maximizing commercial impact.

  • Develop and roll out regional and national initiatives aimed at boosting sales efficiency and execution.

  • Collaborate with General Agreement (GA) accounts to strengthen partnerships and drive mutual success.

STAKEHOLDER AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Foster strong relationships with key Points of Contact (POCs), resolving issues by liaising with internal departments such as Logistics and Finance.

  • Build internal networks and ensure cross-functional alignment to achieve regional and national business goals.

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and value delivery.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT AND ENGAGEMENT

  • Lead the implementation of the AB InBev People Cycle, ensuring alignment with the corporate calendar and quality standards.

  • Drive capability development within the team and across the broader organization through coaching and upskilling initiatives.

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and performance-oriented working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A relevant Sales and Marketing Degree is required

  • A postgraduate business qualification is advantageous

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sales Management role

  • Familiarity with the In-Home Channel and Trade Schemes (e.g., IRS, SIU)

  • Solid understanding of applicable legislative frameworks

  • Demonstrated knowledge of local market environments

  • Proven experience in executing sales and marketing strategies in dynamic environments
