ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently hiring 20 General Workers at our state-of-the-art Polokwane Distribution Centre. These permanent positions cover several essential functions within the DC, including Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift Driving, Reach Truck Operations, Auditing, and Combining. Candidates will be placed in roles based on qualifications, certifications, and prior experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your assigned responsibilities will align with your skills and experience. Positions and duties include:
General Worker:
-
Return overstocked, damaged, and short-dated goods to the correct areas.

Maintain orderliness and assist with general housekeeping in the warehouse.
Picker:
-
Pick stock according to accurate picking slips and ensure order completeness.

Operate within time and accuracy targets.
Cycle Counter:
-
Monitor and reconcile stock levels.
-
Conduct frequent inventory audits and report discrepancies.
Forklift Driver:
-
Operate a forklift to load, offload, and relocate pallets within the warehouse.

Ensure safety standards are followed and equipment is inspected.
Reach Truck Driver:
-
Stack and retrieve items from racking systems using a reach truck.

Adhere to safety and racking protocols.
Auditor:
-
Verify order accuracy, check expiry dates, and inspect stock for damages before dispatch.

Maintain documentation and audit logs.
Combiner:
-
Consolidate products on pallets, ensuring they are shrink-wrapped and ready for shipment.

Confirm accuracy of orders before dispatch.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
Grade 12 / National Certificate (compulsory).
-
0–2 years of warehouse/logistics experience (role dependent).

Forklift or Reach Truck license is required for those applying to operate machinery.

Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Ability and willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, weekends (including Sundays), and public holidays.
