ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking 20 General Workers to support various operations at the Lynnfield DC. Whether you’re an experienced warehouse worker or looking for your first entry into the industry, this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company. Based on your skills and licensing, you may be assigned to roles in Receiving, Picking, Loading, Forklift Operation, Cycle Counting, Auditing, or Combining. These are permanent positions with growth potential and hands-on training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your daily duties will vary based on your role and may include the following:
General Worker:
-
Sort and return overstocked, damaged, and expired goods to proper inventory channels

Assist with warehouse housekeeping and general support
Picker:
-
Select items from storage using picking slips
-
Ensure picked items are accurate and well-presented for dispatch
Cycle Counter:
-
Conduct periodic stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy
-
Reconcile discrepancies and report on inventory issues
Forklift Driver:
-
Load and unload delivery trucks
-
Move inventory across the warehouse using a forklift (valid forklift license required)
Reach Truck Driver:
-
Stack and retrieve goods from racks using reach trucks (valid license required)

Ensure proper equipment handling and safety compliance
Auditor:
-
Inspect goods before dispatch to stores
-
Verify stock for damages, expiry dates, and quantities
Combiner:
-
Consolidate picked items onto pallets
-
Shrink-wrap and prepare items for store distribution
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or National Certificate
-
0–2 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution
-
Valid Forklift or Reach Truck license (for driver/operator roles)

Basic proficiency in Excel and warehouse software systems
-
Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
