ROLE OVERVIEW
VKB Group is currently hiring a Code 14 Driver for its Bethlehem Distribution Centre. This full-time, permanent role requires a reliable and experienced driver to handle time-sensitive deliveries across various locations. The ideal candidate will ensure all goods are transported securely and efficiently while maintaining professional client relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely transport and deliver goods to various destinations in a timeous manner

Perform regular inspections and safety checks on the assigned vehicle

Minimise delivery-related risks and uphold VKB’s standards of safety and care
-
Ensure compliance with road safety laws and VKB company policies

Accurately complete all required delivery documentation and trip logs
-
Provide high-level customer service during deliveries

Report mechanical issues and operational delays promptly to management

Perform additional administrative and logistical duties as required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
-
Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF Level 4 qualification

Valid Code 14 driver’s license with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

At least 3 years of proven driving experience in a similar distribution or logistics environment

Previous experience in the agriculture or FMCG sector will be a distinct advantage

No criminal record (Clear criminal background screening)

Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism

Ability to operate under pressure and adapt to dynamic delivery schedules
