ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards at the NTK Retail premises. This role ensures the store is kept clean and presentable for staff and customers at all times. The cleaner may work during or after office hours and plays a key role in health, safety, and customer satisfaction in the retail space.
This is an ideal entry-level position for candidates looking to join a reputable organization with long-term growth prospects in the agricultural retail industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general cleaning of floors, offices, restrooms, sales floors, and stock areas

Ensure that all store surfaces are clean, sanitized, and safe for staff and customers

Maintain compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations

Follow cleaning schedules as set out by management

Undergo and complete all compulsory training interventions provided by VKB
-
Assist with small ad hoc tasks as directed by supervisors or store management

Immediately report any safety hazards or damage to the relevant department
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification

Good physical health and stamina
-
Willingness to learn and complete on-the-job training

Ability to work flexible hours when necessary

Clear criminal record
