As the demand for secure cash transportation continues to grow, Fidelity is looking for committed and professional individuals to join its frontline operations. This position is based at the Worcester Branch under the Cape Town business unit, and forms part of a critical logistics operation.
Role Overview
The CIT Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of Crewmen and Custodians during cash collection and delivery operations. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and strict adherence to safety and compliance procedures. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the CIT Driver will play a frontline role in ensuring that client assets are protected during transit while maintaining real-time communication and documentation throughout the operation.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in the security industry or logistics, who possess a strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and the ability to react appropriately in high-risk environments.
Key Responsibilities

Transport Crewman and Custodians to various client sites to collect and deliver cash and valuables

Maintain communication with control centers via radio contact and report delays or unusual incidents

Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure all pre-trip and post-trip checks are documented accurately

Complete accident and incident reports when necessary

Take proactive steps to identify suspicious activities and avoid high-risk situations

Adhere to all firearm handling and CIT protocols

Ensure proof of delivery and collection documentation is properly completed and submitted

Report all delays, breakdowns, or incidents to the Operations Manager immediately

Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent service to clients during site visits
Minimum Requirements
-
PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C
-
Cash in Transit (CIT) Certificate
-
Valid firearm competency certificate (minimum handgun for business purposes)
-
Valid South African driver’s license (minimum Code C1) and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

Clean criminal record with no pending investigations
-
Physically fit and mentally alert to handle stressful and potentially dangerous situations

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a security-related role, preferably in CIT

Must be willing to work irregular hours, travel, and work overtime when required
