Role Overview

Servest Security is seeking an experienced Technology Solution Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced security technologies. This strategic role involves combining deep technical knowledge with commercial and operational acumen to deliver customized, scalable, and cost-effective security solutions for clients. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping technology direction, partnering with OEMs, and driving business growth through innovative service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions, including architecture planning, device selection, and technical configuration tailored to client needs.

  • Present expert advice on security technology and engage with clients to understand their operational challenges and match them with effective solutions.

  • Deliver end-to-end solution design for technologies including access control, CCTV, analytics, alarms, IoT, intrusion detection, and biometric systems.

  • Conduct client assessments and detailed site surveys to determine optimal technology fit.

  • Develop accurate pricing models and proposals that enhance profitability while meeting customer expectations.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and operations to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.

  • Maintain service quality through SLA compliance, planned maintenance scheduling, and post-installation support coordination.

  • Oversee vendor engagement and manage relationships with technology partners, ensuring competitive pricing and best-in-class product selection.

  • Track industry trends in AI, automation, and smart security; share knowledge with internal teams to drive innovation and thought leadership.

  • Identify new business opportunities in both existing and untapped market segments.

  • Develop and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and accurate reporting through CRM platforms.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, contracts, and sales activities with real-time updates to CRM systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

  • Higher certificate, diploma, or degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Information Technology, Security Technology, or related field.

  • Recognized prior learning in technical security disciplines may be considered.

  • PSIRA registered or eligible for registration.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical security solutions role within private security, systems integration, or related technology sectors.

Certifications (Advantageous):

  • Vendor/platform certifications (e.g., Milestone, Hikvision, Gallagher, Genetec, Avigilon).

Technical Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of system architecture, smart surveillance, video analytics, and AI-enabled intrusion detection.

  • Proven solution design and project implementation track record.

  • Commercial insight in sales engagement, pricing strategies, and proposal development.

  • Familiarity with compliance standards in the security and surveillance industry.

Soft Skills:

  • Agile and results-driven with a high level of initiative.

  • Strong communicator with confidence in stakeholder engagement and solution presentation.

  • Calm under pressure with strong time management and multitasking ability.

  • Analytical problem solver with attention to technical and business detail.
