Role Overview

As a Financial Advisor with Liberty ECM, you’ll be responsible for analyzing clients’ financial needs and providing customized solutions that drive wealth creation and protection. This role calls for a confident, driven, and goal-oriented individual who is passionate about helping people achieve financial freedom. You’ll use Liberty’s comprehensive suite of insurance and investment products to address a wide range of client needs—from life cover to retirement planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of individual and institutional clients

  • Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis and provide tailored solutions

  • Build long-term relationships through ongoing reviews and advisory support

  • Remain informed of changes in financial regulations and Liberty’s product range

  • Meet compliance standards and report regularly on performance and activity

  • Support clients from all sectors including government, corporates, and individuals

  • Leverage internal systems and training to optimize service delivery

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 (Matric) is mandatory

  • Must obtain a FAIS-recognized qualification within 6 years of DOFA

  • Ownership of a laptop or tablet is essential for daily operations

  • Sales experience (telephonic or face-to-face) is desirable but not mandatory

  • Financial industry knowledge is a strong advantage

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Awareness of the South African financial services sector

  • Understanding of financial markets, trends, and regulatory frameworks

  • Ability to deliver structured presentations and advise clients effectively
