Role Overview

As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for assessing clients’ financial goals and delivering tailored solutions from Liberty’s broad product suite, including life insurance, investments, and retirement planning. You’ll build long-term relationships and offer financial education while growing your own client base and personal brand within a supportive, commission-based environment.

You’ll need to demonstrate self-motivation, drive, and a passion for client service to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer clients sound financial advice based on thorough needs analysis

  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and portfolios

  • Regularly review financial plans to align with clients’ changing needs

  • Remain informed on market trends, product offerings, and legislative changes

  • Ensure compliance with Liberty’s policies and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act

  • Represent Liberty in your community and promote the brand professionally

  • Participate in training and continuous professional development sessions

  • Deliver on sales targets while maintaining high ethical standards

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)

  • Must complete a FAIS-accredited qualification within 6 years of DOFA (per FSCA regulations)

  • Own laptop or tablet is essential for client engagement and business operations

  • Prior face-to-face or telephone sales experience is desirable

  • Industry-specific knowledge in insurance or financial services is advantageous
