Role Overview

The Financial Advisor position is a contract role designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering meaningful financial solutions. Based in Emalahleni, this opportunity offers exposure to Liberty’s well-established Liberty@Work model, which equips advisors with the necessary tools, mentorship, and training to build sustainable, long-term client portfolios.

You will serve as a financial coach, assessing client needs and advising on suitable products such as life assurance, retirement planning, and investment options from Liberty’s portfolio of offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and retain strong relationships with a diverse client base

  • Conduct client financial needs analysis and recommend relevant financial solutions

  • Educate clients about life assurance, risk products, and wealth-building strategies

  • Manage an evolving portfolio of clients through regular reviews and adjustments

  • Stay compliant with industry regulations, FAIS, FSCA, and Liberty internal processes

  • Remain informed about changing market trends, economic conditions, and product offerings

  • Represent Liberty ECM in the community and build a positive brand reputation

  • Track and report on sales progress and business development activities

  • Attend product training sessions and professional development workshops

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 is essential

  • Must complete a FAIS-recognized qualification within 6 years of DOFA (as per FSCA)

  • Previous face-to-face or telephonic sales experience is advantageous

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or customer advisory is preferred

  • Laptop or tablet is mandatory for this role
