Role Overview
The Financial Advisor is responsible for delivering strategic financial guidance and building long-lasting client relationships. This role demands the ability to analyze individual financial situations and recommend appropriate products from Liberty’s suite of benefits. The advisor will work closely with individuals, communities, and corporate groups, ensuring Liberty remains a trusted financial partner in the Free State region.
As a Financial Advisor, you’ll act as a brand ambassador, maintaining high service standards and helping clients navigate the ever-changing financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a personal portfolio of clients and prospects

Conduct financial needs analysis to deliver tailored advice and products

Maintain ongoing relationships and conduct regular portfolio reviews

Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to better serve clients

Achieve business growth targets by identifying new opportunities

Ensure adherence to Liberty’s internal policies and compliance regulations

Submit regular performance reports and sales updates to management
Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (Matric) is required

Must obtain a FAIS-recognized qualification within 6 years of DOFA

A laptop or tablet is essential to perform your duties effectively

Previous experience in face-to-face or telephonic sales is advantageous

Exposure to the financial services industry will be beneficial
