Role Overview
Hollywoodbets is looking for a highly creative Content Creator to join their Marketing Team in Umhlanga, Durban. The ideal candidate will lead the production of engaging video and multimedia content tailored for social media, recruitment campaigns, internal communications, and brand promotion. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and wants to bring stories to life through visuals, sound, and social storytelling.
You will produce content for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, internal company displays, and special team events. If you have a flair for video production, an eye for detail, and a passion for digital engagement—this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, record, and edit original video content for recruitment campaigns, social media platforms, and internal communication channels.

Create engaging reels, stories, and multimedia content across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Edit video and sound using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools, ensuring a high-quality final product.

Capture video content at team events, workspaces, and campaigns to drive brand visibility and employer branding.

Write compelling copy and video scripts aligned with the brand voice and creative strategy.

Ensure all content is aligned with the Hollywoodbets brand guidelines and messaging standards.

Prepare and manage content for internal display screens, optimizing layout, animation, and audio delivery.

Monitor trends in digital content, especially on emerging platforms, and adapt strategies accordingly.

Collaborate with marketing, HR, and other departments to execute projects efficiently and professionally.

Manage timelines, schedules, and production plans to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in content creation, video production, or a related multimedia role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing, social media content, and storytelling.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or related tools.

Basic knowledge of sound recording, audio mixing, and visual composition.

Familiarity with multiple video formats, shooting styles, and production equipment.

Excellent understanding of social media platforms, including best practices for engagement on TikTok and Instagram.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.

Valid Driver’s License for on-site and event-based filming when required.

Experience with copywriting or scriptwriting for multimedia content.
