Role Overview
The HR Administrator will support the Human Resources department at the FSG Phillipi Branch in a wide range of administrative and operational tasks. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the incumbent will handle various HR processes including employee onboarding, records maintenance, recruitment support, employee wellness initiatives, compliance tracking, and the coordination of events and audits.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update internal HR databases with new employee information such as contact details and employment documentation

Assist with the recruitment process and the onboarding of new hires

Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as requested by management

Participate in planning and executing company events, career fairs, and employee wellness initiatives

Coordinate and maintain an effective filing system for personnel records

Support the HR Manager with day-to-day operations and HR-related administrative functions

Assist in implementing transformation and organisational development strategies

Handle employee HR queries, ensuring proper referral to appropriate personnel

Provide support during the annual BBB-EE audit and compliance processes

Perform duties related to employment equity, skills development, and labor legislation adherence
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
-
A minimum of N6, Diploma, or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint essential

Sound understanding of South African Labour Legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, and BBB-EE frameworks

Previous experience in an HR support role or internship – advantageous but not essential
