Role Overview
FedEx is currently seeking a dependable and professional Courier (Code 10) to join its operations team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a skilled driver to manage pick-ups, deliveries, dispatch operations, and customer interactions across both international and domestic networks.
This role is ideal for someone with strong logistical skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to operate under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Perform on-road courier duties, including pick-up and delivery of parcels

Ensure accurate package handling, packing, and sorting in line with FedEx operational protocols

Manage dispatch tasks and contribute to hub/station operations

Interact professionally with clients during deliveries and collections
-
Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic regulations
-
Complete documentation and scanning accurately for traceability and reporting

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient route planning and delivery execution

Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicle
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

Valid South African Code 10 driver’s licence

Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) required

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a courier or delivery role

Excellent route navigation, time management, and planning abilities
-
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Attention to detail with solid documentation and reporting ability

Able to work independently and within a team

No criminal record
-
Must be willing to work flexible hours and perform physical tasks
