Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Supervisor I [Regional Hub Manager I] to join our team in the Western Cape. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the successful execution of in-store operations, drive sell-out strategies, manage promotions, and build influential relationships with retail partners. You will ensure optimal retail execution by leading a team, delivering on KPIs, and developing innovative approaches to grow market share and visibility.
This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with solid experience in the FMCG, cellular, or consumer electronics sectors, ready to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution and KPI Achievement

Drive product sell-out by targeting store-specific KPIs across brand and LSM segments

Analyze product performance to adjust forward share and promotional focus

Identify cross-merchandising opportunities to enhance in-store visibility

Maintain optimal stock levels and monitor out-of-stock situations

Train in-store sales consultants and ensure MCS registration and uploads
Promotional Implementation

Coordinate and implement promotional grids in line with brand strategy

Negotiate and secure space for POS material with store managers

Monitor and report on competitors’ promotions and new innovations
-
Support product consultants in executing promotional activities
Category and Planogram Compliance
-
Ensure correct planogram implementation and maintain shelf health
-
Optimize forward share and align with client strategy for category management
-
Provide in-field reporting and visual documentation on product placement
Operational Excellence and Reporting

Utilize data from handheld systems for performance tracking and auditing
-
Compile regular reports (weekly, monthly) on store activities and performance metrics
-
Manage scorecard compliance, expense tracking, and vehicle usage
Retail Asset Management

Ensure the effective distribution of new product lines and innovations

Conduct staff and customer education on new products

Drive speed-to-market on new listings and track performance
Stakeholder and Client Engagement

Build strong, trusting relationships with store owners, managers, and client reps

Lead regular review meetings and maintain open lines of communication

Provide insights on pricing, stock levels, and competitor activity
People and Team Management

Inspire, manage, and develop a high-performance team culture

Monitor team attendance at training, call cycle adherence, and commission targets

Conduct performance appraisals, training, mentoring, and succession planning

Ensure proper disciplinary and performance management processes

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications

Diploma or Degree at NQF level 6 or 7 (preferably in Sales, Marketing, or Business)

Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
Experience
-
3 – 4 years’ experience in sales

2 years in a managerial or supervisory role within FMCG, cellular, or consumer electronics sectors
