Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Cashier to join our dynamic team in Lenasia, Gauteng. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a critical role in delivering excellent service, handling transactions, and supporting overall restaurant operations. You will also assist in preparing quality menu items and maintaining hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the front-of-house and food service areas in accordance with Pedros’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and ensure all food handling complies with internal guidelines

Prepare and serve menu items efficiently while maintaining speed of service

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

Accurately process customer orders and handle payments via cash, card, and digital platforms

Resolve customer queries and ensure a positive customer experience

Work collaboratively with the team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations

Support back-of-house staff during busy periods when required
Minimum Requirements

National Senior Certificate (Matric)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment

Strong customer service orientation

Good verbal communication skills

High energy, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Willingness to maintain high standards in cleanliness and food quality
