The group is now seeking a Wholegoods Administrator to support inventory and procurement operations for agricultural equipment at its KwaZulu-Natal location.
Role Overview
The Wholegoods Administrator will be responsible for the administration and coordination of stock procurement and management activities related to agricultural equipment. This role ensures stock availability, accurate documentation, and efficient supplier communication to support the sales process and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities

Place orders for agricultural equipment stock and ensure timely procurement

Circulate stock-related documentation to the sales team
-
Verify the accuracy of wholegoods documentation before processing

Track and maintain appropriate stock levels, identify shortages or surpluses
-
Follow up on outstanding equipment orders with suppliers and resolve delays
-
Respond to supplier and pricing queries over the phone in a professional manner

Identify old stock and initiate inter-branch transfers or clearance plans
-
Submit accurate commission reports for further processing

Generate outstanding order reports and other relevant sales performance reports

Order wholegoods based on exact customer specifications

Review and process invoices from suppliers and ensure payment arrangements

Flag and escalate payment issues as necessary

Monitor stock availability concerns and communicate with management
Qualifications and Experience
-
Grade 12 (Matric) – Essential
-
Office Management Certificate or Diploma – Required
-
Minimum 3 years of administration experience in agricultural or construction equipment industry

Strong product knowledge of agriculture or forestry machinery
Technical Competencies

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Skilled in inventory control systems and procurement processes

Clear understanding of agricultural and forestry product lines

Effective written and verbal communication skills
