Role Overview
Motus is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to lead its KIA New Vehicle Sales Division at the Vereeniging Multifranchise. This pivotal role requires a dynamic and experienced leader who can drive vehicle sales, build and inspire a motivated team, and ensure the dealership meets manufacturer targets, profitability goals, and exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the new vehicle sales department and team

Maximize sales performance, profitability, and customer retention

Ensure the execution of the full vehicle sales process
-
Manage inventory levels and maintain optimum stock of vehicles

Maintain tight control of costs within departmental budgets
-
Monitor and review pricing strategies, trade-in deals, and discount policies
-
Analyze and report on the financial performance of the sales department weekly
-
Ensure all vehicles are delivered to OEM quality and safety standards
-
Handle customer complaints and feedback timeously and professionally
-
Ensure achievement of departmental customer satisfaction goals

Drive the sale of value-added and back-end products
-
Facilitate training of Sales Executives, especially for new model launches

Manage dealership policies on stock floor planning and sales compliance

Build productive relationships with OEM representatives and other stakeholders
-
Provide guidance and mentorship to staff to meet objectives
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Requirements:
-
Matric / Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
-
A relevant NQF Level 6+ qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management is advantageous
Experience Requirements:
-
3 to 5 years’ experience in vehicle sales, with specific exposure to new car sales

Proven success in a sales management role within the motor industry
-
Prior experience with KIA or a similar automotive brand is highly desirable

Strong understanding of OEM target management and variable margin programs
-
Experience in sales compliance management
