Role Overview
The Procurement Administrator plays a critical support role within the Procurement Department, focusing on fuels, lubricants, automotive products, and gas. You will be responsible for supplier and product maintenance, contract administration, pricing updates, reporting, and general support for branches. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with solid Excel and administration skills.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage supplier information, contracts, and rebate structures

Oversee the listing and delisting of products and ensure pricing is current and competitive

Monitor and update monthly fuels and gas prices
-
Support branches with stock orders, claims queries, and promotional activities

Facilitate online training for petrol attendants across branches

Generate, rework, and import procurement data using the K8 system and Excel

Assist with general administrative tasks and ad hoc projects as required
Qualifications and Experience
-
Grade 12 (Matric) – Minimum educational requirement
-
At least 1 year of administrative experience in a procurement, inventory, or product management role
Technical Competencies
-
Basic to intermediate knowledge of procurement and product lifecycle
-
Intermediate Excel skills, with ability to handle data manipulation and imports

Familiarity with K8 or similar ERP systems is advantageous

Strong time management, organisational, and planning skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

A valid driver’s licence is essential

Understanding of COC/ROD documentation processes
