Role Overview
The Front and Back Office Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising all front- and back-office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality of the store. This includes overseeing inventory and cash handling, maintaining compliance and financial control, improving operational workflows, and mentoring staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Satisfaction: Implement customer retention strategies and foster a culture of excellent customer service that builds long-term relationships

Inventory Control: Maintain optimal stock levels through effective stock management strategies, minimizing losses and ensuring availability of high-demand items

Financial Oversight: Manage all cash and financial transactions accurately, ensure compliance with internal audit procedures, and safeguard company assets

Compliance & Risk Management: Enforce company policies and legal regulations, maintaining high standards of operational and legal compliance

Team Leadership: Inspire, coach, and manage a team of employees, building a performance-driven environment and nurturing individual growth

Back-Office Management: Ensure accurate reporting, recordkeeping, and reconciliation of daily transactions while maintaining store administration

Front-End Oversight: Supervise POS operations, manage queue efficiency, and support staff in delivering seamless customer interactions
Minimum Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 / Matric qualification (compulsory)

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Retail Management, ideally within a fast-moving, customer-focused environment

Proven track record of team leadership and staff development

Strong proficiency in retail operations, cash handling, stock control, and compliance monitoring
