Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Wealth Manager to join our Private Wealth and Advisory Team in the Eastern Cape. In this role, you will provide tailored financial advice and wealth management services to high-income clients, with a strong focus on investment planning and estate structuring. Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert savings, investment, and estate planning advice

Develop customized financial strategies aligned with clients’ goals

Analyze financial data to prepare comprehensive financial proposals

Educate clients on financial products to ensure long-term retention

Increase client acquisition and drive new investment opportunities

Review and update financial plans regularly to adapt to changing circumstances

Investigate investment options that align with client profiles and risk tolerance

Achieve gross production and sales targets as outlined in scorecards

Ensure high-quality advice aligned with FNB’s investment philosophy

Maintain compliance with internal procedures and industry legislation
-
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless client service

Generate business intelligence and track performance against SLAs
-
Maintain updated knowledge of all FirstRand-approved financial products

Proactively engage with clients to resolve queries and improve satisfaction
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
-
A relevant degree in Investment, Economics, or Financial Planning
-
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification
-
3 to 5 years’ experience in a Wealth Manager or financial advisory role
-
Strong portfolio of servicing high-net-worth clients with tailored solutions
Preferred FAIS Experience – Category 1:

1.3, 1.4, 1.5 – Long-Term Insurance and Retirement Benefits
-
1.8 to 1.15 – Shares, Money Market Instruments, Bonds, Collective Investments, Forex

1.17 to 1.24 – Deposits, Structured Deposits, and Hedge Funds
Preferred FAIS Experience – Category 2:

2.2 to 2.20 – Advanced product knowledge in investments, pension benefits, and hedge funds
