Role Overview
The Sales Supervisor role in Mkuze is pivotal to ensuring frontline sales excellence, optimal product presentation, and customer satisfaction across multiple retail touchpoints. You will be responsible for leading a small sales team, ensuring promotional execution, and acting as the key liaison between the company and local retailers. Key Responsibilities
Sales and Communication Management

Supervise and guide the sales team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly targets

Manage in-store communication with retail clients to build relationships and increase order frequency

Monitor daily sales performance and compile sales reports for management analysis
Customer Service

Deliver superior customer experience by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly

Provide after-sales support and maintain long-term customer satisfaction

Gather and report feedback to optimize service delivery
Technology and System Management

Utilize mobile sales applications, CRM tools, and data dashboards to track performance and manage clients

Train team members on new digital platforms and ensure smooth tech integration into daily operations
Promotional Activity

Ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions in alignment with the marketing calendar

Oversee Point of Sale (POS) display setups and monitor the effectiveness of trade promotions

Provide feedback on promotions, pricing, and customer response to inform future strategies
Achievement of POP Objectives and Sales Targets

Guarantee shelf health and manage stock levels by working closely with store owners

Ensure planograms are followed and products are visibly and accurately placed

Increase forward share of key SKUs through structured negotiation and smart merchandising
Operational Excellence

Manage logistics of deliveries, stock levels, and territory routing

Maintain compliance with company procedures and conduct audits when necessary

Coordinate with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
Stakeholder Engagement

Act as the point of contact between Yebo Fresh and regional store managers

Regularly meet with clients, address challenges, and build collaborative relationships

Submit comprehensive stakeholder reports and sales insights to senior leadership
Minimum Requirements

2 to 3 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector

Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 5)

Valid driver’s license (Code 8 or 10)

Proficient in customer service and shelf management

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong administrative and team coordination skills
